The Malaga Train Station serves as an important connector for passengers, as it allows quick and easy train travel to a range of locations. It connects the city of Malaga to other provinces, other cities in Spain, the Andalusia Region as well as some European destinations. In the same way, Malaga can be reached easily from numerous locations due to the operation of this station.

The station is at a distance of 9km from the airport, and a mere 2km away from the port. It is connected to the city centre and the airport of the city by other transport services as well, including taxis and buses. A train can as easily be taken to the city centre and Malaga Airport as they run every 30 minutes which is frequent and convenient.
